Battle System Battle System Battle System

Final Fantasy X-2 uses a newer and more refined version of the traditional Active Time Battle system. Each action a character takes will take a certain length of time to recover from. The more powerful the item, skill or spell that the character uses the longer it will take for them to recover from. The battle order panel which was in Final Fantasy X isn't in Final Fantasy X-2, perhaps the only down grading adjustment to the battle system. Battling enemies is easy using the various abilities you have during combat and, like in most Final Fantasy games, an explanation of the Battle System is provided at courses during the game.

A new Attack Chain system is also featured in Final Fantasy X-2, which allows your characters to cast chain attacks. These chain attacks allow you do build up the damage done, multiplying it by mixing various attacks. There are many chain attacks to use in the game, which is why it's a good idea to practise and discover them all. The more you know, the better it will be to your advantage. The Chain Attack command is usually intitiated from Yuna's Quick Trigger command, but there are other circumstances where it will be without using this command.
